Unmanned Aircraft Technologies
Unmanned Aircraft Technologies, S.A. was established on December 2008 to research, develop and distribute technologies and services based on Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS). It is a joint venture participated by Prointec, S.A. and Unmanned Solutions, S.L. as the vehicle for the collaboration of both companies in the field of UAS.
Prointec is a leading company in the fields of engineering, technology and architecture with an special enfasis in transportation technologies and a strong aeronautical division.
Unmanned Solutions is the result of the research spin-off from the Dynamic Systems Research Group of the Aeronautical Engineering School of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (GISD-UPM), with the mission of design and engineer products and services based on UAS.
Success Factors
Its deep knowledge of aeronautical engineering, research capability and the broad network of scientific collaborators of Unmanned Solutions allow UATec becoming a leader in engineering, manufacturing, operation and exploitation of Unmanned Aerial Systems.
The partnerships built in the research projects provide UATec a fundamental basis to gather the technological and scientific capabilities which allow finding the best solutions to the customer needs.
